Autodesk has released Autodesk Softimage 7.5 - new version of software for creating visual effects, modeling and visualization. For quite a long time CG artists successfully using Softimage (formerly SOFTIMAGE | XSI) the production of films, video games, 3D animated films.

Starting with version 7.5 software will appear under the trademark of Autodesk.


The new version of Softimage includes several useful functions: the creation of UV unwrapping in automatic mode, multi-threaded simulator behavior tissue Syflex and integrated rendering mental ray 3.7 +, which will save a lot of time and will work with the program more productive.

Technology to create UV unwrapping in automatic mode
